(For couples under the care of Al Zahra Hospital only).
Join antenatal class one aimed at couples in early pregnancy – from conception to 27 weeks.
During the class you will learn about your pregnancy week by week including how your baby develops. We will look at how to maintain your health and what to expect from your hospital care. Finally, you will learn about preparing for birth and making a birth wish list (maternity tour included if required).

Antenatal Class Two

(For couples under the care of Al Zahra Hospital only).
Join antenatal class two aimed at couples from 27-35 weeks of pregnancy (maternity tour included if required).
During this class you will learn about getting ready for labour and what to pack for the hospital. We cover what the signs of labour are and when you should come to the hospital. Then finally the birth; the different types of birth including waterbirth and caesarean section, your options for coping with labour and what to expect then your baby is born.

Join antenatal class three, aimed at women over 35 weeks of pregnancy (maternity tour included if required).
During this class you will learn about caring for yourself and your baby after birth. We will give you the latest evidence-based information on postpartum health, safe sleeping for babies, infant feeding and much more.
